Training and Support

Once your VersaTrak system has been installed, we will ensure it is fully commissioned and handed over to you with the appropriate training given to a nominated staff user. Operating manuals are also provided for on-site reference and you can contact our technical support desk for any further assistance following this initial installation process.

Technical Support Desk- Business hours

In the first instance, telephone support is available to all system users directly from our technical support desk. In most cases, software issues can be diagnosed and rectified over the telephone. However, should a higher level of software support be required, we can then use remote internet technical support direct to the computer hosting the software using client authorised access.

Online Training

New users can benefit from our on-line learning management system that provides a suite of training modules on how to perform the key software functions for different user types. There are training sessions for:

  • General users
  • Department administrators
  • Maintenance technicians

Click on the “Training Login” button and a you will be automatically redirected to the E-Learning portal where there are two options one is for “DOD US military” users and another “VersaTrak Training” is for all other trainees.

Versatrak Training is accessed by a password which will be provided at the time of your system installation.

Military users will be asked to register an account using their military credentials to access the training.

Service/Calibration

For 12 months from the date of installation, the VersaTrak 868 system is covered by our Manufacturer’s Warranty, which covers any component breakdown NOT caused by wear and tear, malicious abuse or accidental damage.

At the time of installation, you will have been supplied with certificates of calibration accuracy for the system components. It is recommended and in some countries, a legal requirement that accuracy validation is undertaken regularly.

VersaTrak wireless monitoring has the unique OPTION of the automated calibration system (ANC) which enables the user to configure the software to undertake a 4x point calibration check of accuracy every month with the records and all certificates being maintained as electronic files within the system database. The automatic system is certified accurate for 5 years with no additional costs for system calibration during this period.

This is an optional cost extra, and can be purchased at the time of installation or at a later date.

Alternately, the client can choose to have the system manually re-certified for accuracy on an annual basis by a VersaTrak engineer.

Annual Maintenance Agreements

The system comprises of hardware that uses proprietary electronic components (powered by mains voltage or batteries) hence, there is little chance of any mechanical or electronic failure. However, following handover of the system with VersaTrak software installed and functioning correctly, there is always the possibility that any other software added post-installation could cause conflicts with our application. We therefore always recommend that a dedicated computer server is used and that no additional software is subsequently installed. Computer malfunctions post–installation will not be covered by the warranty.

Based on our experience and understanding of the VersaTrak system, annual maintenance agreements are available at an annual fee (price on application), based on the number of components installed and any additional services such as calibration or preventative maintenance visits required.
